Mike Baur - Chief Executive Officer
ScanSource, Inc.

Mike Baur has served as Chief Executive Officer of ScanSource, Inc. since January 2000. He co-founded the Company in 1992 with only six employees. Today, the international Company posts annual sales of more than $3 billion, has 26 locations across North America, Latin America and Europe, and employs approximately 1,500 people. Mr. Baur served as President of the Company from its inception in 1992 until 2007. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 1995. Mr. Baur has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having served in various leadership and senior management roles in the technology and distribution industries before joining ScanSource, Inc.

Scott Benbenek - President, Worldwide Operations
ScanSource, Inc.

Scott Benbenek joined ScanSource in 1998 as a member of the Company’s merchandising department. In 2007, he was named President of Worldwide Operations where he oversees worldwide operations for all business units in all geographies under the direction of CEO, Mike Baur. Mr. Benbenek is responsible for managing the Company's continued profit in all of its technology segments, including automatic identification and data capture (AIDC), point of sale (POS), communications and physical security. He served as the Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations from 2002-2007 and has held prior positions at the Company, including Vice President of Merchandising and Director of Merchandising.

Charles Mathis - Chief Financial Officer
ScanSource, Inc.
Charles Mathis has served as Chief Financial Officer of ScanSource, Inc. since December 2012, where he plays an instrumental role in helping the Company to grow domestically and internationally.  Mr. Mathis brings extensive experience in financial management and operations to this position, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Force Protection, Inc.  He brings far-reaching global finance expertise to ScanSource, having conducted business extensively throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific over much of his career.  Beginning his career in investment banking at Salomon Brothers, Mr. Mathis later held financial leadership positions at United Dominion Industries, Inc., EnPro Industries, Inc., and Elbit Systems Ltd.

John Ellsworth - Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
ScanSource, Inc. 

John Ellsworth has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for ScanSource, Inc. since August 2008 and as the Company’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from January 2003 to August 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ellsworth served as Assistant General Counsel of One Price Clothing Stores, Inc. from 2000 to 2003 and as a judicial law clerk in 1999. Mr. Ellsworth is admitted to practice law in the states of South Carolina and Minnesota.

 

Gerald Lyons - Senior Vice President, Finance and Principal Accounting Officer
ScanSource, Inc.

Gerald Lyons manages the Company’s financial operations, including its Reseller Financial Services, Internal Audit, Treasury, Accounting and Finance departments. Mr. Lyons previously served as Vice President, Financial Business Systems, where he was actively involved in the implementation, management and oversight of the Company’s financial systems and processes. Mr. Lyons joined ScanSource in 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Controller, where he was responsible for guiding the operation of the accounting function, as well as the strategic direction of the accounting team. Prior to joining ScanSource, he worked with Moen Incorporated in senior controllership and general management positions. Mr. Lyons also served in various accounting and financial management positions with Cooper Industries. 

Andrea Meade - Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Development
ScanSource, Inc.

Andrea Meade joined ScanSource in 2000 as Director of Strategic Development. In 2007, she was named Executive Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development. Ms. Meade is responsible for the Company’s North American distribution operations and logistics, technical services, reverse logistics and customer service and IT functions. In addition, she oversees the Company’s reseller services business and continues to provide strategic planning and corporate development advice. Prior to this position, Ms. Meade served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations. 

 

Tim Ramsey - Vice President, Worldwide Reseller Financial Services
ScanSource, Inc.
Tim Ramsey oversees the Company’s financial services offering in all geographies, in addition to US operations, which he has led since 2005 when he joined the Company. Mr. Ramsey is responsible for planning, implementing and executing the Company’s worldwide Reseller Financial Services strategy, as well as goal setting, receivable analysis and reporting oversight. In addition, Mr. Ramsey will oversee personnel development and process improvement. Prior to joining ScanSource, Mr. Ramsey spent more than a decade at Michelin North America, Inc. in various financial leadership roles, including director of credit and business development, as well as worldwide purchasing. 

 

Buck Baker - President
ScanSource Europe
Buck Baker has served as President of ScanSource Europe since December 2012, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the Company’s European operations, including its POS & Barcoding and Communications business units.  Prior to this, Mr. Baker served as President of ScanSource Communications North America, where he was instrumental in leading the Company to achieve record results year-over-year. Mr. Baker brings a wealth of technology distribution experience to this position. He joined ScanSource, Inc. in 1995 and has led the strategic oversight of both the Catalyst Telecom and ScanSource POS & Barcoding merchandising teams.

 

Greg Dixon - Chief Technology Officer
ScanSource, Inc.
Greg Dixon joined ScanSource in 1992, where he serves as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Mr. Dixon manages strategic technology initiatives for ScanSource Inc. Mr. Dixon has more than 30 years of experience in the technology arena. He is seen as an industry expert and has been a featured speaker at many industry events over the years.

Mike Burns - President
ScanSource Services Group
Mike Burns has served as President of ScanSource Services Group since April 2012, where he is responsible for managing the Company’s professional and value-added service offerings.  Prior to this position, Mr. Burns served as Vice President of ScanSource, Inc. from 2001 until 2012, where he led the OUI Managed Services business unit.  Before joining ScanSource, Mr. Burns worked with Lucent Technologies and AT&T in various sales, training and leadership roles.

 

Alexandre Conde - President
ScanSource Brazil
Alexandre Conde joined ScanSource Brazil as president in 2011, when ScanSource purchased CDC Brasil, a point-of sale (POS) and automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) distributor for which Mr. Conde was president. He was one of the founders of CDC Brasil, which was established in 2002. Prior to that, Mr. Conde worked for a POS peripheral manufacturer and a computer peripheral manufacturer, where he held a number of leadership positions in finance, planning, logistics, sales and marketing.

 

Paul Constantine - President
ScanSource POS & Barcoding
Paul Constantine serves as President of ScanSource POS & Barcoding North America. Mr. Constantine joined ScanSource in 1999 and most recently served as Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Security. He also served as Vice President of Solutions and Services for ScanSource, Inc., where he managed the company’s value-added service offerings for resellers in all sales units. Mr. Constantine previously was Director and Vice President of Merchandising for the POS & Barcoding sales unit. 

 

Mike Ferney - Vice President, Merchandising
Catalyst Telecom
Mike Ferney manages the strategic direction of Catalyst Telecom’s vendor relationships, including enhancing joint marketing efforts and overseeing the inventory management side of the business. Mr. Ferney most recently served as Vice President of Sales for the ScanSource Communications sales unit. He was instrumental to the growth and success of ScanSource Communications, having spent more than eight years in management roles with the Company. Mr. Ferney was responsible for the integration of the sales departments for the 2007 merger of Paracon and T2 Supply, which became ScanSource Communications. He also served in sales and business development roles for Paracon.

 

John Gaillard - Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Catalyst Telecom
John Gaillard joined ScanSource in 2000 as a Business Development Manager within the Catalyst Telecom sales unit, responsible for recruitment of new business and growth of existing partners. He assumed the responsibilities as Vice President, Sales and Business Development for Catalyst in December 2003. When ScanSource Security was formed in October 2004, Mr. Gaillard was named President with responsibility for establishing the business unit, developing the business plan, and providing strategic direction for the company. He returned to Catalyst Telecom in 2008 to again take the reins as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

 

Brian Cuppett - Vice President of Merchandising
ScanSource Communications
Brian Cuppett serves as Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Communications.  In this position, he manages the strategic direction of the Company’s vendor relationships.  Prior to this position, Mr. Cuppett served as Vice President of Sales, where he managed the growth and development of the Company’s vendor sales and business development efforts.  Mr. Cuppett previously worked at CTI Authority, which was purchased by ScanSource in 1998.  In 2001, he began the field Business Development team for what would become ScanSource Communications and served as BD manager.  In 2008, he was named director of business development. 

 

Mark Morgan - Vice President of Sales
ScanSource Communications North America
Mark Morgan serves as Vice President of Sales for ScanSource Communications North America, where he leads the strategic sales growth efforts of the Company.  Prior to this, Mr. Morgan was Vice President of Sales for the ScanSource POS & Barcoding North America sales unit, where he led a team of 75 sales and business development professionals.  He has extensive distribution experience and has led teams in sales, marketing and merchandising.

 

Tony Sorrentino - President
ScanSource Security
Tony Sorrentino is President of ScanSource Security North America. Mr. Sorrentino was one of the first executives to join the Company when it was founded in 2004. He previously served as Vice President of Sales, as well as Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Security. Prior to joining ScanSource Security, Mr. Sorrentino served as Director of Merchandising for the ScanSource POS & Barcoding sales unit, where he managed the strategic growth and direction of several of the company's largest vendor lines. 

 

Maurice van Rijn - Managing Director
ScanSource Europe POS & Barcoding
Maurice van Rijn has served as Managing Director of ScanSource Europe POS & Barcoding since May 2012. Mr. van Rijn is responsible for leading the strategic direction and management of sales, product marketing and inventory management for the Company’s pan-European operations. He joined ScanSource in May 2002 as part of the Company’s acquisition of ABC Distribution and brings extensive sales and sales management experience in IT distribution to the role. Mr. van Rijn previously served as Sales Director for nine years where he was instrumental in the success of ScanSource’s European operations, which were launched in 2002.
