Mike Baur - Chief Executive Officer

Mike Baur has served as Chief Executive Officer of ScanSource, Inc. since January 2000. He co-founded the Company in 1992 with only six employees. Today, the international Company posts sales of more than $1.8 billion, has 13 offices across North America, Latin America and Europe, and employs more than 1,100. Mr. Baur served as president of the Company from its inception in 1992 until 2007. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 1995. Mr. Baur has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having served in various leadership and senior management roles in the technology and distribution industries before joining ScanSource, Inc.

Scott Benbenek - President, Worldwide Operations
ScanSource, Inc.
Scott Benbenek joined ScanSource in 1998 as a member of the Company’s merchandising department. In 2007, he was named President of Worldwide Operations where he oversees worldwide operations for all business units in all geographies under the direction of CEO, Mike Baur. Mr. Benbenek is responsible for managing the Company's continued profit in all of its technology segments including, AIDC (automatic identification and data capture), POS (point of sale), communications and physical security. He served as the Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations from 2002-2007 and has held prior positions at the Company, including Vice President of Merchandising and Director of Merchandising. Mr. Benbenek is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.

Richard Cleys - Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
ScanSource, Inc.
Rich Cleys joined ScanSource in 2002 as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, where he plays a strategic role in helping the Company to continue to grow domestically and internationally. Mr. Cleys also manages the Company’s Credit and Finance departments. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the position having served in financial leadership positions in the manufacturing and distribution industries. He most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Lanier Worldwide in Atlanta, Ga. Prior to joining Lanier, Mr. Cleys served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at A.B. Dick Company. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a BBA and received his CPA in 1973.

Andrea Meade - Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Development

Andrea Meade joined ScanSource in 2000 as Director of Strategic Development. In 2007, she was named Executive Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development. Ms. Meade is responsible for the Company’s North American distribution operations and logistics, technical services, reverse logistics and customer service and IT functions. In addition, she oversees the Company’s reseller services business and continues to provide strategic planning and corporate development advice. Prior to this position, Ms. Meade served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations. She reports to CEO, Mike Baur. Ms. Meade is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School.

John Black - President
Catalyst Telecom
John Black has served as president of Catalyst Telecom since April 1999. Mr. Black joined ScanSource in 1998 as president of Catalyst Commerce, the division which developed and managed e-commerce programs company-wide. Prior to this, he was with IBM for 17 years in sales and management, with his last position as Business Unit Executive for Finance Industry. Mr. Black left IBM in early 1994 to join a start-up company (RightSource) as General Manager. RightSource provided technical marketing and educational services worldwide to large, international technology-based companies. Mr. Black is a graduate of Clemson University.

Jeff Yelton - President
ScanSource POS and Barcoding
Jeff Yelton was named president of ScanSource POS and Barcoding in 2008. He joined the Company in 2005 as vice president of merchandising. As president, Mr. Yelton oversees the unit’s overall strategic direction, financial performance and growth initiatives. He also continues to lead the team responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Company’s vendor relationships, including the development of integrated marketing programs, asset management and growth strategies. Mr. Yelton came to ScanSource from Retalix Ltd., where he served for over two years as CEO of Retalix North America and executive vice president of acquisitions and business development of Retalix. Prior to that, Mr. Yelton worked with IBM Corporation for 12 years, and for seven years with Kyrus Corporation, where he held sales, business development, and senior management positions. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Buck Baker - President
ScanSource Communications
Buck Baker has served as president of ScanSource Communications since October 2008. Mr. Baker oversees the strategic management of the Company’s sales, marketing and merchandising functions. He brings a wealth of technology distribution experience to this position. Mr. Baker joined ScanSource, Inc. in 1995 and has led the strategic direction of both the Catalyst Telecom and ScanSource POS & Barcoding merchandising teams. He has been instrumental in managing the Company’s vendor relationships from a marketing, inventory and leadership perspective. In addition, Mr. Baker has provided guidance and direction to the sales teams, enabling them to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.

Xavier Cartiaux - President 
ScanSource Europe
Xavier Cartiaux has served as president of ScanSource Europe since 2009, where he leads the day-to-day operations of ScanSource’s offices throughout Europe. He served as managing director of ScanSource Europe from 2004-2009.  Prior to this, Mr. Cartiaux served as Merchandising Director for the Company for more than two years, where he helped develop business plans and marketing strategies for ScanSource Europe’s manufacturer partners. Mr. Cartiaux previously worked for software firm, I.R.I.S., as Director of Marketing and Communications, as well as with broadline distributor, Ingram Micro for more than seven years, where he held a number of positions, including Purchasing Manager and Senior Buyer.

Elias Botbol - President
ScanSource Latin America
Elias Botbol joined ScanSource Latin America as president in 2001 when ScanSource purchased Netpoint International, a point-of-sale (POS) distributor for which Mr. Botbol was president. He founded Netpoint in 1995. Prior to that, he founded and served as President of Groupo Netpoint International, a POS and networking distributor in Venezuela. Mr. Botbol also worked as a Developer for Compusoftware. He is a graduate of Simon Bolivar University, where he studied Computer Engineering.

Marsha Madore - Vice President, Human Resources
ScanSource, Inc. 
Marsha Madore joined ScanSource, Inc. in 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources, where she leads a team of Human Resources specialists and generalists that support the corporation’s sites across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. Prior to joining ScanSource, Mrs. Madore worked at a television station in Greenville, SC. She then moved to Hawaii, where she created education and awareness campaigns to help combat litter. After returning to Greenville, Mrs. Madore became a training solution provider offering training and educational opportunities to local businesses and industries. She then began managing training and staffing departments, as well as diversity and Equal Opportunity Programs. Mrs. Madore holds a Masters degree in Education from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelors degree in English from Furman University. She also holds the Senior Professional of Human Resources certification.

John Ellsworth - Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
ScanSource, Inc. 
John Ellsworth has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for ScanSource, Inc. since August 2008 and as the Company’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since joining ScanSource in January 2003 to August 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ellsworth served as Assistant General Counsel of One Price Clothing Stores, Inc. from 2000 to 2003 and as a judicial law clerk in 1999. Mr. Ellsworth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Wisconsin and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Mr. Ellsworth is admitted to practice law in the states of South Carolina and Minnesota.
